The IQ HPP captures but does not kill bacteria, viruses or mold. The Bio-Net air purifier has been independently tested and certified to kill viruses, bacteria and mold in high percentages.
Additionally, the Bio-Net has a true "Filter Effectiveness Monitor" which informs you when your filter is no longer delivering clean air. This is done with a pressure differential monitor. This also saves you money because there is no need to change your filters until you need to. The IQ HPP is on a timer, therefore, no matter how dirty the filter is the indicator light will only go on after the timer has expired. This does not give you a true indication on whether or not your filter has to be changed.
