EZ Air HEPA Air Cleaner's Activated Carbon Pre-filter Packs: These dual-purpose pre-filters take out larger dust. allergens and particulate to protect the air cleaners HEPA filter, but they also contain 3 1/2 lbs. of activated carbon and zeolite to remove harmful odors, chemicals, gases, and VOCs. A typical year’s supply of air cleaner filters (three) is included with every EZ Air HEPA cleaner unit. Because the Pre-Filter packs should be changed from the air cleaner every 3-6 months, EZ Air air cleaners always operate at peak odor/chemical adsorption efficiency, as the carbon can be changed as soon as it becomes saturated/filled with odors. And the Pre-Filter Packs are priced very reasonably to encourage regular replacement; to ensure that the air you breathe is free from harmful contaminants.
Certified HEPA Filtration: EZ Air HEPA air cleaners contain actual hospital grade individually tested and certified HEPA filters tested and guaranteed to be 99.99% at .3 microns. Separate Carbon and HEPA filters: Because carbon adsorbs odors and chemicals like a sponge, no matter how much carbon is in the air cleaners filter, it will always saturate and needs to be replaced more often than the HEPA filter. If you do not replace a saturated carbon filter, the carbon can actually expel or “out-gas” trapped odors and chemicals. Effective Air Flow Pattern: Besides technology used, airflow pattern is the most important attribute of any air cleaner. For if you are not collecting dirty air from throughout the room and replacing it with clean air, the overall effectiveness of this HEPA air cleaner unit is compromised. The airflow pattern created by EZ AIR cleaners are designed to produce an excellent mixing factor so the EZ Air cleaner will clean all parts of the room. Dirty air is drawn in through the top of the air cleaners unit through three intake vents. This allows for the most efficient removal of contaminated air from the normal breathing zone (3-6 feet high), as the dirty air has easy and direct access to the cleaners air intake. Air then passes through the four stages of filtration before being exhausted out of the lower portion of the air cleaners unit from three sides to all parts of the room. Unlike some air cleaners that unsuccessfully try to maneuver dirty air from the room via clean air exhaust, EZ AIR HEPA air cleaner actively and aggressively removes or “vacuums” dirty air from the normal breathing zone. This makes for a very clean indoor environment providing your family or office workers dust, allergy and asthma control!
