The D-2100 HEPA air purifier's long life washable pre-filter system will trap larger particulates in an efficient way while protecting it's high quaity HEPA filter. The replaceable carbon filter absorbs toxic gases, organic hydrocarbons, exhaust fumes, formaldehyde, benzene,toluene, cleaning chemicals, low-level ozone, unpleasant odors,and solvents from paints and carpeting.

The HEPA filter will remove allergens such as pollen, mold fungal spores, tobacco smoke, insect dust,dust mites, and particles down to 0.3 microns. As with the pre-filter system,the HEPA filter also contains a layer of charcoal coating for maximum removal efficiency of toxic fumes.

The UV lamp incorporates a photo catalyic technology（PCO）to oxidize the toxic volatile organic compounds（VOCs） in indoor air and to reduce the risk of humans to exposure to these air toxics. It also aides in destroying harmful bacteria, viruses and mold spores.

An advanced electronic control system allows the user to set up airflow rates according to the room size and the air quality,as well as give user service and replacement information for the UV lamp and filters.

A built-in air quality sensor can detect bad air quality in a room. When the unit is in "Auto"mode, the unit will start and stop automatically.
